Leadership | Sales | Team Building

Everything I know about leadership I learned by beating people up... and taking a few beatings myself.
I spent 13 years of my life working towards a goal, finally achieved it, and had it taken away in the blink of an eye.
I spent the next 2 years feeling sorry for myself, but finally, a few years later I started to unknowingly redefine myself.
It's a long journey that I'm still working on. My goal here is only to share what my experiences have taught me.

I Don't Know & I'm Sorry

I Don't Know & I'm Sorry Those may be my two favorite leadership phrases. Not because they're complex phrases with deep meaning, but because for most leaders they're the most difficult words to say. I have no delusions of knowing everything and if my team has the expectation that I should, I've done a bad job defining our relationship. These phrases are scary for some leaders because they show vulnerability. "I'm sorry". I'm admitting to you that I screwed up. Personally, I find those phrases more useful than they are painful. When I say those phrases, sure I show vulnerability, but I also show that I'm a human being that makes mistakes, just like you.
